Senior CGI Artist (m/f/d) - Location: Jodpur (India)

To strengthen our international team in Jodhpur, India, we are looking for a Senior CGI Artist (m/f/d). In this role, you will create and lead high-end photorealistic visualization projects for our solid wood furniture — from product renders and room scenes to campaign visuals, CGI workflows, AI-supported processes and AR/VR applications.
Your responsibilities:
- Conceive and lead complex visualization projects, including full room scenes, scene worlds, campaign visuals and storyboards for product launches
- Independently create high-end, photorealistic CGI renders of our furniture products for online shops, marketplaces and marketing channels
- Model complex furniture and interior objects based on technical drawings, dimensional data and design concepts
- Define and maintain high-quality lighting, material, shader and render standards for consistent, brand-compliant results
- Create and further develop photorealistic textures and materials for solid wood surfaces, finishes and colors
- Develop and maintain render workflows, asset libraries, material sets and visual style standards
- Ensure the technical and creative quality of all CGI assets, including proportions, dimensions, colors and product authenticity
- Create animations and interactive content for digital channels where required
- Evaluate and integrate new tools, AI-supported workflows and AR/VR applications into the CGI pipeline
- Automate recurring render tasks through scripting to increase efficiency and scalability
- Act as technical point of contact and mentor for the team, without disciplinary leadership responsibility
- Further develop our CGI and visual content standards in collaboration with the head office in Germany
- Work closely with colleagues in Germany and India in the areas of design, marketing, image processing, purchasing and product development
Your profile:
- Training or studies in 3D visualization, media design, CGI, architecture visualization or a comparable qualification
- 5+ years of professional experience in CGI/3D visualization with a focus on high-end product, furniture, architecture or interior visualization
- Expert knowledge of common 3D tools such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D or Blender
- Very strong skills in rendering engines such as V-Ray, Corona or Redshift, including advanced lighting, shading and material creation
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and post-production workflows
- Experience with After Effects and Substance Painter is an advantage
- Experience with real-time engines such as Unreal Engine and AR/VR pipelines is a strong advantage
- Scripting skills for render automation, for example Python or MAXScript, are an advantage
- Experience with AI-supported visual workflows and image generation tools, combined with an awareness of responsible AI usage, copyrights and brand-compliant content creation, is an advantage
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, perspective, color, proportions and photorealistic quality standards
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy, consistency and product authenticity
- Ability to work independently, structured and quality-oriented, and to manage multiple complex projects in parallel
- Strong sense of innovation, quality awareness and communication skills
- Experience in mentoring or providing technical guidance to team members is an advantage
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of another language, e.g. German, would be an advantage
- Interest in working with an international team
